Beckie Belote shows how to quickly and easily add Must Have Laser Title Embellishments in different ways to add beauty to your pages quickly and economically.
You know how if you get a Hallmark card, or perhaps are reading a favorite Bible verse or motivational quote, the words often inspire you? That is how I feel about Creative Memories™ Must Have Laser Title Embellishments. Yes, that is really their name! This Must Have line will end with four different packs of sayings. As of now, there are only two packs which means there are more to come!
You will love these. The white embellishments look kind of antique as if the edges have already been chalked. There are different fonts, colors, and styles as well as “feels” of the phrases.
I love titles on a page, but sometimes a title doesn’t scream out to me. I can always seem to find a Must Have Laser Title Embellishment that will do the trick!
Mostly, the titles are neutral tones making them super easy to use. Whites and black (or dark gray) with an occasional splash of color in the second series of this line. Some of the embellishments have the letters cut out so that when you use them on a page and if you are strategic, you can place them so that interesting colors fill the letter spaces.
The white letters are going to look great on the darker backgrounds and the dark ones will look great on the lighter backgrounds. If you have the PERFECT saying but the color is too similar to the background, you can simply mat the embellishment on a contrasting color and then adhere it to the page.
Recently at a team meeting, advisor Sharon Seltzer mentioned that she loves COLORING the white embellishments to MATCH her page spread. DUH, why didn’t I think of that? Team Work makes Dream Work!
I have been playing with this and what I discovered is, if you use your Creative Memories™ Repositionable Tape Runner to adhere your white saying to a scrap piece of paper, coloring it goes very quickly and you won’t make a mess on your hands! Once done, you can easily remove your saying from your page and without adding any more adhesive (that IS the beauty of REPOSITIONABLE TAPE by the way!), you can re-stick it down on your page spread. I love this option to make a perfect match!
If you use your Creative Memories™ repositionable tape runner to adhere your white saying to a scrap piece of paper, coloring it goes quickly and you don’t make a mess on your hands or anywhere else! Once done, pull it off and it is ready to RE-ADHERE on your page!
I have to also give a plug to our Sort and Stash Binders! They are currently on backorder but they should be back in stock sometime in JULY 2021! The binders come with large pockets great for storing completed pages not yet ready to go into an album, jumbo cutting patterns that are awkward to store in other places, and the recipe templates and journal templates. The 2.5-inch ones are perfect for storing your borders that you make and aren’t quite ready to use.
The 5.5 ones are perfect for anything loose like embellishments which is what I have been using for my Must Have Laser Title Embellishments. Client Beth Moore shared with me one day how she has been opening up her packs of Must Have Laser Title Embellishments and other similar packs that we have had in the past to organize them by THEME so she can quickly find the perfect saying. I loved this idea and tried it myself – WHAT A TIME SAVER! I simply wrote on the outside of my pockets with a sharpie things like, “vacation”, “love”, “faith”, “celebrations”, etc. For my locals, though I do not have any more binders in stock, I do have a few of the fillers left in both the 5.5 size and 2.5 size. While you wait for your binder, if you want some, let me know. They drop nicely into our Power® Project Folders for easy storage so you can store them there if you are anxious to get organized NOW.
Thanks so much for reading. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate you? When I asked Erica Rice to develop a website for me, it wasn’t so that I could make a million dollars or to become famous but because I felt a calling to share the ideas that God seems to keep putting in my head with YOU.
Thanks, Erica, for making this dream come true, and thanks to YOU ALL for reading and making me feel so appreciated.
